Hi, I found you by watching Carol's vintage on UA-cam. I'm an older lady doing this part-time but have been watching and learning from various resellers on UA-cam. I am trying to do more and more as I am retired and have the time. My only problem is buying too much and then finding out some of the things don't sell. I am learning to take photos and do a Google lens search and trying to do the eBay comps /sales. My only platform is eBay so far, I'm hesitating to jump into other platforms, And was wondering how you decided to sell on other platforms. I know Poshmark but I'm not sure of the kind of items that would sell on it. Your q&A today was very informative and reinforced my idea to just try something and see if it works for you. There is no true instruction manual for resellers. I'm in Florida and have a lot of thrift stores near me so it's always very tempting for me to go thrifting, but I'm on a fixed income so that's a limitation. I did purchase the laundry detergent that you use and set myself up on a subscription basis. Thank you for that discount. My best to you in all your endeavors. P. S. I also subscribed to your channel, but I'm not brave enough to do YT videos.

I have one, she is a mastiff which is short hair, and I swear after a few minutes of putting anything black I have dog hairs attached to me! What's your secret?!?!?!? lol. Idk why they stapled the price tags to the clothes. One would think they'd of had string tags or the tag barbs. Using the staples has put 2 pin holes in the items

I did enjoy doing live shows, but it is true that you don't make that much profit on the items. It comes down to if you are willing to wait for a better offer or cut your profit down and sell it right away on the live shows. Unfortunately, the live shows have been affecting our sales and the amount of profit we make.

Take the Madewell shoe lining and steam it. spread it out and lay it flat then put a heavy book on top of it. After a couple of days take the book off and let it dry another day then reglue it.
